It happens when you least expect it. That golden ring of opportunity. Do you grab it, or let it slide.

Look around, explore and be of good use. That's what I did. Although several chances arose to become a leader. I suppose it happens to everyone at some time or another.

People I have met exude that leader vibe. The sort of "Let me tell you what..." kind of vibe. Only sometimes they are so full of themselves to the point of becoming ignorable.

Excellent leaders are always checking in, probing, suggesting, listening. You can immediately tell when they focus on your eyes, pause, then talk.

I think we all have our talents and need to remind ourselves where we shine, and remember to try new things. We are not the same minds as last year, or the years before.
